well my favourite of the bunch is the R33

excellent value for money

love the shape

good power

comfortable/spacious/nice interior

has my favourite rear end (OO\skyline/OO)

love how its so well known/the presence of it on the road

people might say its too common like its a bad thing, IMO that only proves how good and liked the car is

and ofcourse the best thing about it, the sound of the rb25 :P

wasn't a huge fan of these cars before to be honest was more into wrx's, GTiR's etc but once i got to know em and learnt about em i was hooked!

ever notice how all these news cars are copying the oo-oo lightS? I think its the new vw passats have them and theres heaps more with different variation like the indicator in the middle of the O and other things but all look like copies of the OO-OO that we all love.(MARKETING TACTIC!!??)

is it me or are the new mazdas and others copying the s15 type headlights?

i like my r32 because the RB20 is so fast that i cant hear all the rattles and squeaks when i drive :)

cos you need to be going fast to not hear things?

33GTR, hottest ass of any car EVER, plus the sound of a 26 when its angry is awesome. I still have to hold back from getting a chub everytime i look at my car- i wouldnt get that with a commonwhore, which would have cost more money

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
