hi guys thinking of purchasing a full trust kit. garrett t04z (.07 front .84 rear) trust manifold and gate.

I have just had my engine rebuilt about 6000kms ago its got JE pistons & ring set, shot peened rods, race series main & rod bearings, ARP rod bolts, balanced engine, acid bathed block, all new gaskets and seals, port and polish, full head service ect

The car has a HKS front mount, walbro fuel pump, avcr, e-manage.

At this stage I am aiming for the 300kw mark as Im not upgrading my injectors just yet im thinking bout 16psi should get me the 300rwkw. when I do upgrade my injectors to say 700cc and wind the boost up to about the 20psi mark wot other mods will be needed?

For the 300kw mark would I need to upgrade my standard AFM's?

Thanks

well a t04z is a 400-440rwkw+ turbo.

You'd need injectors around the 800cc mark or whatever is on offer in that size, 700's would really be pushing it

A much better fuel system aswell, the walbro wont cut it there.

Stock AFM's will get you 300rwkw the if the tuner knows whats going on.

If your only going to run like 20psi (and not chase 420+rwkw with big boost like the turbo/motor combo is made for), you'll be far better off with a much smaller and appropriate turbo which will be a large level more responsive. Then you get away with smaller injectors and so on.

Thanks mate appreciate your feedback, wot im really after is about 300-350kw mark. I drive my car everyday and want it to still be reliable I dont want to push high boost levels. Im hoping there is a turbo out there that is really responsive able of pushing the 350mark on nothing over 18psi? any suggestions and also wot other upgrades would be needed for the 350mark? cheers

GT35 (.82 rear housing) will do it much better dude than a T04Z, if its not better by 800-1000rpm i'd be surprised

You'll only need 550-600cc injectors for the 350rwkw mark, and just a set of AFM's if you choose.
