Oil Presure

i have a problem im worryed about :$ my oil presure gauge usualy use to sit at like 4 i think? and now when i accelerate and when revs build up the oil presure moves to about 6 n half and when i change gear it goes back down to 4 until revs build up.. whys this whats broken now :@

since it goes to 8, i wouldn't be worried

but it could be one of two things

- you have a heavier weight oil in the sump currently (like 15W60 or similar)

- the gauge is out of whack (common with Nissans)

if ur worried about it, get a mechanic to check it with a reliable gauge

it never use to do it until now, had the car for about 10,000 kms

Also it's due to stock sender/sensor being out of whack.

An aftermarket gauge with sender/sensor will fix your probs.
