im in the midst of purchasing a car

now i love in melbourne and the owner of the car is in sydney

located near penrith...

now does anyone here reccommend or own a workshop in sydney that i can take the car to (HOPING THE OWNER WILL AGREE TO) and get a full check up done?

i mean leak down test

compression

dyno

everything?

please please please if you know anyone let me know as i need to get thing organised!

may be a bit much but also if you have any idea on prices and duration

unique auto sports, seven hills (blacktown). they do this kind of pre-purchase skyline inspection thing all the time. they will do a full inspection inc road test and compression test for around $250-$300 depending on what exactly you want. they do dyno tests too if you ask.

don't buy it without an inspection first, its not like you can just drop it back to the seller to discuss later

if the owner wont agree to an inspection its time to walk away. imagine the motor is about to die, do you have 6-8k lying around on top of the purchase price?
