The room fuse keeps blowing as soon as I put one in.

I installed a sub and amp into my car it was all good and working for about 2 hours then the the cd player turned off and theres no power to the amp or sub. I checked the fuses outside and the "room fuse" is out so i put another 10A one in and POP it wet out straight away.

Also when I lock my car with the alarm, after 5 seconds the alarm just goes off. Even if I silent lock it, the alarm still goes off after 5 seconds

Interior light also doesn't work.

Took out the whole wiring of the sub and amp and put it together twice, and it worked for a few hours then the same problem.

More info:

The amp is a 2x200watt audioline, the sub is 250watt, wiring kit is 8guage.

Need help ASAP, anyone do sub installs or know someone who does?

sound like theres to much load on system, another problem i have struck is the globe in the interior light gets faulty and makes fuse blow, try replacing the globe in the interior light and then replace fuse and see if it still does it
