As with all my previous cars after using my air con,i usually switch it off and let fresh air through a minute or two before switching the car off. This is suposed to stop mould etc forming and causing a bad smell.

my problem is that the current skyline i have already has this odor.

how can i get rid of it?

you should be able to get it out by just airing it out on a sunny day,

I don't think letting fresh air in would stop mould as your actually introducing more moisture by doing this.

Air-con's remove mosture from the air so if anything it would stop mould.

Do a search on here there are a few tutorials.

Remove the glovebox, and on the righthand side theres a panel you can remove. Behind this there are two filter elements - usually black from sitting in traffic jams in japan, remove and replace. Some people clean them carefully with compressed air, some importers sell them new
