Pod Filters An Vic Roads

Just to confirm with everyone.....

If my Pod filters are the only intake mod on my car will Vicroads have any probs?

I took the car to a RWC guy today and he said he doesnt have a prob with them but if the cops pull you over they can do you for them.

He issues RWC all the time with pod filters..... although the last place i took the car said it needs a stock airbox.

It just doesnt make sense that i can go get a legit RWC today and tommorow the cops can get me for cops...

Anyway has anyone had any probs when taking the car to register it at Vicroads with PODS? As there going to pop the hood to look at VIN nos etc....

wen i first registered my car had apod that was it, itll be fine

cops can only do u for them if u run ona gtst a pod and fmic (ie. 2 intake mods)

or on a NA i think it s an oiled element pod which they can get u on

Hey on this, since a GTR has a FMC does that mean you can fit pods?

i assume so because you havent modified the car from smic to fmic. so pods count as one intake mod. dunno if changing the stock cooler to a larger one and pods can be passed off under this though.
