ok ive got a problem with my r32 gtst.

well here are the things thats been happening with it.

- when i turn on the car and drive for a few meters i lose my power steering.

- my headlights dont work when i put them on, my indicators go on instead.

- when i indicate my hazard light also comes on

- i turn on the headlights/hazards and my boost gauge goes off with my indicators and it makes a winding sound.

my speedo is still fine and the car is still fine just that those problems occur.

anyone had anything similar to their r32s?

thanks in advance dave.

They're weird problems man. :thanks:

I understand the power steering not working after a while, but the others I've never heard of before. Best bet would be to get an auto electrician to look at it, but like you said, it's the long weekend and no one will be working.

Good luck!

Edit: The long weekend is only in Melbourne, sorry.

rip out your alarm, sounds like its farked...

some alarms incorporate proximity lights when you disengage the alarm with the parkers and/or indicators, and that buzzing sound could be from farked up relays in the alarm box as its not closing properly and supplying your electrical system with enough power, assuming that one of your immobilisation points is your car's power.

I believe your mate Phu could do it, just rip out the entire alarm system, restore all the factory points where you have immobilised, check all of your fuses, and rip out any alterations to your factory wiring

i.e. gauges, headunit, turbo timers, etc...
