hey guys sorry if it has been covered before but i just wanted to ask this question

before i go and buy it and find that its toooo laggy etc.

It is a Hypergear tr44 turbo with a t3 flange and either .66 or .70 A/R

They said that this turbo hits boost at 3000 and by 4000 its at full boost.

Has anyone had experience with this turbo on an rb20?

im looking at around 220rwkw if that helps.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers Adrian

anyone - i would suggest you actually learn something about the company/turbos your making comments about...

Your look quite the idiot, especially when they are a SAU Sponsor, and hence ive edited your factually incorrect post.

From what I have read on NS.com and calaisturbo.com.au, they are very good quality turbos for the price.

They seem to make pretty good power and are pretty responsive, haven't read about any of them failing due to bad quality or design.

Here's few more:

252KWs CA18det running TR44

TR44 powered 1J engine running 276KWs wheels 16 PSI.

TR43 Hi-Flow powered CA18det engine running 250KWs wheels 15 PSI

This Video features our Drifter Drifting a TR43 powered R32 (190KWs 10PSI)

Few videos of them posted up by the company.

I was also looking at getting one for my R32 and the TR43 seems like a good option for the RB20.

I have been told to go with one of there custom manifolds along with the ex-gate if I want to use the TR43, but I would rather stay low mount and use an internal gate.

Will post up some more info when I have some.

cheers guys thanks for the replies.

My main concern is that how responsive they will be, and if there is much lag.

From what i already know is that the tr43 is smaller than the tr44.

If so will the tr44 be 2 big and laggy for my setup of around 220 230rwkw.

Thanks
