Driving along today in rainy Melbourne and out of nowhere my car starts spurtering (kinda like jolting), so i slow down and it eventually cuts out. Fair enough...

I try and start it back up, starts fine, idles normally but when i rev it a little sputters and cuts out.

checked all plugs, cooler piping, battery, ect.. fine. Then i noticed my pod filter was a little wet and the induction tubing going up to the hole for factory intercooler piping was, is wet. Which is normal for a rainy day. Anyway i dried the area, waited about 30mins then started it up and it drives fine now. no prob

Could water have gotten into the AFM via the sucking pod and caused the cut out?? or should i be looking for anthing or other signs why this would randomly happen. car runs perfect now

any thoughts?

Ive driven it on other rainy days before, washed the engine at the car wash and have never had any issues.
