nuffsaid
Hi all I have heard some talk of there being a boost restrictor in a hose somewhere in the engine bay of a R34 GTT? Does anyone know where it is? And does it also limit how fast the turbo spools to hit full boost? does it make it slower to hit full boost? PIcs would be much appreciated if anyone has any! 666DAN
There are 2 of them in the hose going to the actuator from memory....take the hose out and have a feel along it until you find the lumps Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/192209-boost-restrictor-in-hose/#findComment-3455364 Share on other sites
crofte
nothing to gain from removal if anything wastegate will open earlier and boost will drop off. I think its there to safe guard the actuator diaphram from high inrush boost, like a softener.
