So sad to see a skyline out of shape :( Feel for you man

In terms of prices, there are a few options

New Front Bar

Look for people wrecking an R33. You may get a stock front car for under $500 if your lucky. You could spend a bit more and get an eftermarket one, but that will be a bit over a grand.

New Re-Enforcment Bar

Once again, find off someone wrecking an R33. You should get this fairly cheap. One thing to look out for, if people have installed a front mount, this bar is sometimes cut, so find one that hasn't been cut.

New Radiator

You may as well get an alloy radiator. You can buy them from just jap for $400. Easy to fit too. There is someone in the group buys sections selling some china alloy ones for about $250-300 too.

New Air Conditioning Condencer

Not sure on this one, but look for some one with a wreck once again. Should be too bad.

Airbags Refitted

Have no idea on this one.

New Windscreen

These can be pretty expensive, but I'd call around to a few places. Not sure on figures tho, but could be up to $1k

New Bonnet

Just about impossible to find a stocko one. A wreck would be the only place, but most wrecks have damaged bonnets ;) You can get an aftermarket one, but be careful to get one thats legal. Do some research on this.

New Headlights

These will be a few hundred. Try get off a wreck and bargain the price down.

When looking for these parts, be careful to get series 2 parts only for the bonnet, front bar and lights. If you get series one anything, the rest won't fit. Since you are replacing the whole lot, you could go for a series one face, by getting all of these as series one parts. They will all fit. So remeber... all series 2, or all series 1.

Hope this helps a bit >_<

i'm getting a 400r front bar installed this week, and it cost me $850 including the bar, prep, painting, headlights and install.

its being done by HSP in moorabbin and the other cars in there look top knotch

Try n get your hands on series two dressed nose cut

Ladd its gonna cost a small furtune to fix that by the time you replace the a/bags n get your frontend repaired, rebuilt and respayed , i just repaired mine so i'll let you know what i paid for each thing you list n good luck you'll need it

New Front Bar ($250 second hand not sprayed ,no foggies n NO Front Rio series two reo's are hard to find)

New Re-Enforcment Bar ( swaped it for a series 1 beleive it or not expect round $150 - $250 mark

New Radiator ( brand new $280)

New Air Conditioning Condencer ( second hand $100)

Airbags Refitted ($2000 you may a new dash)

New Windscreen (buy after market you'll pay 900 for a nissan screen i paid $200)

New Bonnet (second hand sourced from mckay in QLD $450)

New Headlights (buy brand new they look unreal but set aside $900.00 bucks for a pair)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

raidiator support ( i got mine unpicked from a front cut i bought off ebay for $100)

window moulding

radiator shroud

windscreen washer bottle

a/c fan housing

Bonnet latch n mounting

respray front end

Are your skirts damaged the skirts thats the bit off metal from your stut towers to your Radiator support under your washer bottle)

oh the pain it was sourcing the stuff you need it took me a year to source all the parts didnt really wont to pay the crazy prices they charge for new everything

You might be better off cutting your losses, if you do, dont touch or strip it take it to an auction as it is. GL!

Have you considered stripping the car for parts and selling it and getting a new one with an untwistable stomache?

+1, it's not worth fixing up your car. Better off selling parts.

thanks for everyones advice. i think i am starting to lean towards stripping it and buying a commodore or something. only been 18 funds are pretty tight.

hopefully in a few years time ill be a skyline owner again and still see alot of the same faces!

If I were you Id strip the car and sell the parts. Then work your ass off for the next few years and dont buy any cars as they will drain your funds. If you can, drive your parents car or something.

Then buy your dream car, or buy a house/property and use equity to buy yourself a car later.

If you dont do the above then you risk becoming broke.

Then if you keep being good with your money, all your mates will still drive their R34s and R33s while you might be able to buy the new GTR...

I dont know your situation really but if I could of done it all again, I would of bought a house first and then my car.

naa only 3rd party

and the headlights are rooted

i picked them up and they just crumbled in my hands.

ive decided to fix it. i made my first phone call today and it sounds promising.

it was hard to decide weather to keep it or sell it. but i know if i bought any other car i would miss this one too much.

skyline ftw

I have a R32 skyline GTS-t that was in a similar accident to that when I got it..

You covered most of the parts, but the absolute best way to do it is to get a complete half cut and sell the engine.

P.S. You WILL need a new water pump, as the clutch fan bolts to it. And while your there do the timing belt and idler tensioner.

Good luck on the repairs, have patients get it done right and you will be happy again.
