guys, it's only really funny to make fun of someones english speaking ability for about the first 5 or so pages. after that it gets less and less funny all the time. trust me on this.

Haha and how can you gauge that '5 or so' is appropriate? :)

I think BKC is loving it, he talks like an online Yoda :D

The force is strong in him, though his GT-R knowledge isn't.

this argument is retarded

if bkc were into V8's, he'd be trying to tell anything with ears how much better an iron head and block, carbied, Holden 308 is than the current alloy Chev 6.0 litre job.

go away son- this thread has well and truly out-lived it's usefulness (i.e- to make you look like a fool and give us a laugh)

notice the sign off and readable english... no... notice the sign off....

how big is the back seat though ? enough room to rumble the rear axle or is this another on the bonnet deal?

The interior is too nice for that.

And i'd worry about scratching the bonnet.

It's on the road i reckon. :D

This is the first thread I have read on this forum and I want the last 10 minutes of my life back.

Pointless comparason really. The RB and VR are separated by 20years of engine design & technology. Saying that in EVO magazine (a performance car magazine from the UK) it mentions that the VR engine will essentially be a handbuilt unit in a similar vein to the Mercedes AMG engines (so perhaps any comparasons should be with a handbuilt RB such as a Nismo RB26 S1 engine - even then the VR is superior). It also mentions that to sidestep the domestic gentlemans agreement the car has an "untuneable" engine management to prevent the cars from being tuned. It is reputely that advanced that It can detect differences in air flow caused by tuning parts like air filters, intercoolers etc. It also logs this information to tell dealers. Having said that still doesnt deter people from having a go : -

    • More than happy with the colour match Talking to the painter he recommended to give the top a few weeks for the paint to 100% cure prior to sealing it with the ceramic stuff Also, because why not..... I have a fancy pants Fluidampr harmonic balancer on order, the 2.5 engine uses the OEM 2.0 balancer off the old motor as the 2.5 balancer is a larger unit and doesn't fit clearance wise, which, because the two engines have different harmonics, isn't optimal, the OEM balancer does the job, but as the gear driven balancer in the bottom end is removed to fit a RWD application there is slightly more vibration, the Fluidampr helps with the harmonics that the gear driven balancer once took care of,  basically makes life easier on the oil pump and bearings when thrashing it around Hopefully the weather gets better soon because I'm keen for some cruising around, and currently, with the winds and storms we are getting, the amount of detritus being blown around from trees on the road isn't something I want to be driving around in
