Alpine Gear

hey audio peoples.

i got a 97 stagea, and my car has a bunch of Alpine gear, which doesnt work, but would like to know if i can get it to work. as far as i know, its a car nav system, and TV. below are the specs of the units, that are in the boot, and under the passenger seat.

in boot:

Alpine VICS FM multiplex broadcasts tuner unit HCE-T001 Car Navigation System

model no: NVE-N055x

serial no: B6124115

in dash:

Alpine AV Shuttle

model no: TVE-T0165, and theres also a unit under the passenger seat with that model number.

remote control model no: RUE-4107.

if you want pics, and i can get some tomorrow.

also has carrozerria (sp) aerials on the roof, and a alpine aerial on the rear windcreen.

all the fuses n shit look all good, as far as i can see, all the wiring is in tact. tv screen doesnt turn on at all, and the unit in the boot doesnt seem to operate at all.

am i better off just ripping it all out? looks like to be top quality gear back in the day...

just cant find any info anywhere.

edit: where the spare tyre goes, theres a placard in japanese showing the location of the unit, which is above the spare tyre in the well. if u want pics of that, i can also get.

looks like it was there from factory? or an option?

strip it. that said show me a pic of the indash screen. may be able to recycle that. the nav is useless.
