Steering Wheel Jerking Back To Centre

Does anyone else's stagea do this? When my wheel is centred and say turn it right or left half a turn, it feels like it wants to kick back to the centre.

This also happens while im driving and take a corner. I know a normal steering wheel is suppose to pretty much centre itself automatically after you take a turn, but my one is somewhat on the rougher side. Im starting to think it maybe could be a power steering pump / fluid issue. Any advice on what i should check or get checked out?

AFAIK, it is camber that centres the wheel, combined with castor. Wheel alignment perhaps?

yeh mine use to do it really badly the rack was loose and tie rod ends were buggered . i fixed that and it wasnt as bad then i done a wheel alignment and pritty much got rid of it all together . and if you need a tie rod end i have 1 genuine nissan one still in box

yeah I am pretty sure its the castor that does that .. but well worth checking out the steering rack etc etc.

I was enquiring about the SK suspension kit yesterday, Yunis, and SK's son recommended Jim Hunter Suspension in Blacktown (if that's not too far from you) as they've installed and adjusted some of the kits there, and know what they are doing.

yeah - just make sure they give you a before and after report on paper so you can see for yourself what was done/needed.
