Hey,

Ive been looking around at Intercoolers and was thinking of ordering one from Justjap? I was just wondering if there is much difference between the intercoolers? Is there much performance difference? Will one type of Intercooler fit better on the R33? I have a R33 Series 1 front bar...

The intercoolers on the justjap website are the:

HPI Intercooler Kit - Nissan Skyline ECR33 - Price: $699

Cooling-Pro Type 1 Intercooler Kit - Skyline R33 GTS-T - Price: $449

Website with Pics: http://www.justjap.com/parts_nintercoolers.htm

Thanks!

hi mate how are you

im always looking in the hot 4's mags

and fast fours...

they always seems to have full intercooler sets

including all the piping and hose and clamps

for skylines.. 180sx's and stuff in them...

advertised for around $300 and up...

not to sure if there any good and stuff...

but they may be good.. they look ok in the

mag.... im sure those kinda mags wouldn't let

people advertise in there mag if the product was

shit.....

check it out bro...

marginal performance difference and probably not noticable on the road, dyno yes, both intercoolers are very similar in design.

I personally prefer the HPI one because of the mounting brackets.

Just fitted a GReddy Type M front mount kit and it looks the goods and works fricken well. Had it on the dyno and it was making 15more bhp then before. can feel the difference in pipe temps on each side of the cooler.

Thanks for that!

Might check out a few magazines this afternoon....

With the mounting brackets, is that what makes it a easy install or a hard install? I just dont wanna get a intercooler kit that will be a mission to fit on, lol

i have a Greddy cooler as well its a tube and fin core and yes you can notice the pipe temp difference and it should easily fit with the series 1 front bar with no major chopping.....i havnt put mine on a dyno yet but have noticed the difference.....Greddy supply the full kit and are generally good....

The JJR kit has a Generic core so you have to bolt model specific brackets on to make it fit, after time bolts tend to get loose and you'll have a wonky FMIC, the HPI & other Jap kits have model specific FMIC kits where the brackets are actually welded on.

if your on a buget and not aiming for extremely high power, just get the JJR kit, save yourself the money on something else, perhaps an oil cooler?

You sir, are an idiot.

They'll let anyone advertise what ever they want in the mag as long as they pay!

Plus Hot4s and FF know nothing on cars.
