Neone know if the clutch in a Gtst is the same as GTS ? i drove a turbo and it had a very heavy clutch where as mine is light as! Also are the gearboxes the same ? or are the strength's different?

yo clinto. i just killed my clutch yesterday, while racing. Sigh* very unhappy. I dont have the $ for a new clutch either. SO PISSED OFF. ARH!

i think the R33 Gts Gear boxes are the same as R32 Gts-t gear boxes.

so R33 turbo and non turbo boxes are different.

unsure, but i hear the R33 gts/r32gtst boxes are limited to 170-200rwkw, but very unsure of this

nah i just had my clutch done, the fly wheel needs to be reground to match the turbo clutch as they are slightly different, i have a strengthened turbo clutch which was only done recently, works a treat and no hint of slip.

can you change the turbo flywheel and n/a flywheel around?

just like the clutch?

Yeah a bit off topic but the r33 and R32 gtst gearbox's are definatley different, this was being discussed in the silvia/180sx issue of HPI, the JMS yellow Onevia had the r33 box and rb20 engine

I had a new clutch and fly wheel put in mine, the heavy duty clutch is shit i reckon. I heard the R33 GTS and VL gearboxes are similar, anybody know 4 sure???

not totally sure, but i think there a different box, i was looking into doing a manual conversion when i had my vl. ill have a look at my mates and compare it to mine when i get it back
