English Sticker Kit To Replace Jap Writing On Buttons?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get an english sticker kit to maybe replace the Jap symbols on the nav buttons?

I know that there was one made for the Toyota Soarer Nav...

Maybe could get something from the Infiniti G35....

Just thoughts.

give me a high res photo showing the letters clearly on the buttons and I can translate it for you, then you could get them made up

this would be an EXCELLENT idea providing hte font was the same as the other buttons and that they don't look crappy..

I agree, top idea!! I was thinking the same myself but im laking in mates who are fluent in japanese....

I would have settled with the stick on label maker option.

As for hi-res image ill let you know tomorrow when i find out if im getting a V35

no, yours was actually a translation, that other thread was just "this is what it seems like the buttons do"

put them together to give us the best of both worlds!

now.. let's find the person who makes the soarer sticker kit and get them workign for us..

i've contacted a guy on eBay who also sells the soarer ones and he says he is an agent for "brave auto japan" and they make the soarer stickers

i have asked him if they make V35 ones and waiting to hear a reply

will keep everyone updated

Yeah i also emailed 2 places today asking for more info and where they can make v35 ones too.

K just got a reply back from Luke at driveandview.com - UK based company.

I can manufacture the stickers as I have a 350 Skyline head unit screen in stock but the price would be more than the Soarer stickers due to less interest.

I estimate the price to be 20 pounds per kit? Lead time approximately 5 weeks.

also, we need to decide on a definate word for each button as most can only fit a small amount on them

i'm thinking..

top row:

1 - nav

2 - split

3 - view

4 - info

5 - map

6 - menu

bottom row:

1 - image

2 - tv (or nothing?)

3 - zoom in OR zoom +

4 - zoom out OR zoom -

5 - back

Yep sounds good to me.

Why not take a look at the infiniti g35 buttons to see whats written on them. Would the translation be the same from Jap to English as the infiniti?
