Often a slightly intermintant electrical problem can be enough unfortunately. If a wire is lose and grounds itself to the body then POP :D Can happen so randomly, and usually its a bitch to track down the source

But moisture has been the biggest problem in lightsI have seen with blown globes.

Look at the base of the globe and all adr compliant globes have a circle with E1 inside - these globes are the best quality - thats not to say the others arent good - they may be too bright (G4's) or multi-coloured - blue coated quartz lenses like narva optiblue and philips bluevision are street legal - the blue coating helps reduce UV transmission to protect polycarb lenses

nah i think its more a case of grease on the globe cause the glass melted .. not the element breakin like that first one .. i was really really careful with this one so i'll let u guys know in a couple of months time if :) .. enrico .. how u going to fix it for me??
