its much more rewarding killing the crap out of a lvl 50 or so player with everything when you have just the basic of starting weapons..

but doing prestige mode nearly 8 times, lvl 40 doesn't mean much as you usually wont be there for long, you learn to use the weapons better and you are forced to play with and without scopes regulary

i just had to upgrade to a new version or something so i could play online. now it seems that i am only getting into games that have a good connection, and i am seeing alot more aussies.

BUT, there is a catch. the level takes longer to load. and instead of going back to the main menue when a host quits of something. the whole thing feezes and i have to either wait 5min for it to hurry up. or restart the console.

just wondering if anyone else has seen this aswell??

its much better gaming, but getting into the game can take much longer sometimes

sounds like ps3 finally got the new patch in that matches you with people in the same country. Xbox got this bout a month ago but alot of people havin problems with it. I mite even start playing it again now i can get a decent connection hopefully. Add me if ya want my name is iLEC

The new grenade killcam is hilarious, the thing bounces off a tree a wall through a window down some stairs then rolls right next to me bang... dead

I actually don't mind being killed by random grenades pegged in the air anymore

I just picked this up for the X360 for $50. Better be good! Haha just kidding, it should be great.

Kinda wrong time to pick it up though, I've got an essay to start thats due Tuesday. :| I have a feeling if I fire it up on the weekend I won't be touching my essay lol.

    • Not much. It's barely more than an hour's labour. So that-ish plus a boot, clamp strap, some grease.   But, being an R32 GTR, when it is up in the air and the driveshaft is out, about $9k worth of other problems will become visible.
    • Yes, as above. The welding is an easy enough job. Proper reupholstering, perhaps less so. These, and pretty much all seats of the same era (and probably still) rely on molded foam parts to make the shapes. That foam is the yellow detritus visible in the photos. And it is difficult to replicate. I didn't want the pain, so went aftermarket seats instead. But for "saving a classic".... it's probably worth the kidney and left nut that a trimmer will want to redo them.
    • Way too accurate.... source: got flogged by an unsuspecting i30N last night... Super tidy looking 32 though, hopefully you find the time and funds to get it back on the road and enjoy it again!
    • Source: This thread, and the thread this thread spawned from. Alternative take: Is heat actually an issue for the use case of this vehicle? I wonder if it actually would be. Nekminit
    • Considering the price of GTR stuff now the answer is yes. That's a straight forward TIG or even MIG job. I'd put extra tubing inside, for extra strength and weld it up. Then use the spare seat as an example to get the bolster rails in the correct position and the re-apolster. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for the pair as they are?
