Getting sick of seeing this update each time I look forward to getting my parts.

Have bought way over 5K worth of gear in the last 3 months alone and the service has been delayed every order.

I'm just having a bit of a whinge today.....as I also have parts overdue from Slide! Their 7-10 days (ready for immediate dispatch) quote is absolute bullsh!t.

I wish someone here in perth had a sh!tload of money and could just stock up on parts so we could purchase them locally.

I'd be happy to pay a premium for this kind of service.

ok end rant - I'm off to cry myself to sleep.

Yeah i know how you feel it`s sort of why i started this thread in first place to see if i was the only one or if its common problem with them. Does feel better to get it out of ure mind and onto the screen...

If i ever won lotto i would do just that buy and keep stock here with a little more extra that has not taken on over here yet.

hmmm i do agree that nengun is a tad slow on replying emails it took me like 8 emails to get a 1st reply...then took around 1 month for them to source my item, but when they sent it it only took 3 days and it was in my letter box so i guess patience is ur friend :) but yeah you wil get ur items  just gotta wait :D going to try green line out next time :) but nengun is okish i guess but if ur impatient then its crap hehe

Cheers

Bought a lot of stuff for my R32 GTR over the years from Nengun, but the last thing I bought, and that he sent were 'HKS Hipermax III' coilovers, problem being they sent R33 GTS-T HKS Hipermax III coilovers.

The guy was a cock about the whole replacement thing wanting me to go into Aust Post and fill out a claim form saying they were damaged in transit and post them back for replacement R32 GTR Coilovers...

In the end I sold them to a Local Performance shop and bought another set of HKS R32 GTR coilovers...which cost me quite a bit of money

He has now cancelled my Account I see, so No I will not be buying from them again :)

Im having some troubles with greenline at the moment

I ordered a Trust Type C 1.1 Bar

A Type R 1.1 Bar turned up.

Initially i sent an email saying that the wastegate said type R on the box, they said that the Type C's ship in a type R box.

I then found a picture of what the type C should look like, emailed them again saying it didnt look like the type C, no reply.

Finally took photos of the box, and wastegate and emailed them to them.

No reply

its been two weeks since i sent the photos

Kinda frustrating since the type c is more expensive than the type r, and he isnt even interested in getting back to me.

Is this is how greenline get when they make a mistake? :)

hmmm they're gradually extremely busy man....so just wait a few more days ? yeah i know how u feel i mean i sent nengun like 8 emails before he even got back to me  so yeah its frustrating when someone has/have your money and doesn't reply and you'll get all these different ideas ....but yeah he will get back to you matey

Cheers

nengun have nice prices but the shipping time is terible. I waited 10 weeks for a few basic things for my s15. The guy replied to my emails pretty quick, but he didn't realy let me know what was happening. I have heard that the guy is a ass hole if something wrong is sent. After 9 weeks and my abusive emails i recieved a reply saying he was sorry for the delay and that the next transaction would be heaps faster, he blammed it on them moving, but he had earlier blammed it on the parts being hard to source.....

Thankyou, your payment has been received, we are now processing your order.

You will be issued with your EMS tracking number, just before the parts are sent. EMS tracking is only activated once the parts are in the air, therefore it is confusing and causes unnecessary concern should the EMS number be issued earlier.

I found these guys today they appear quite professional have some nice rides (check out the gallery) for the few items I have compared they are cheaper too and also sell secondhand stuff.

Their website

and a nice secondhand turbo kit :(

I have a delivery notice in my account for Feb 5th, but I emailed them 2 days ago to get an idea of delivery and if there would be a delay. They pretty much respond with "There shouldn't be" but its always good to ask.

EDIT: Just got a friendly reminder in 'my orders' that my shipment is being prepared so I guess they have all the parts :(

I've gotta be fair to Nengun after having a whinge........I bit the bullet and went through them again.

Ordered some Tein monoflex coilovers and they have been shipped today - 11 days after payment.

Cannot complain about that.

I received my stuff this week. It will turn up. Do not worry. It is almost always a timing issue with them.

what's the longest someone's waited for wheels.....i've been waiting for over 3 months now....and still no sign

what are they? If they are custom offsets are need to be made to order then they take AGES, although 3months is now pushing it. A friend of a friend ordered some custom order wheels from nengun, took just over 3months all up, and he ended up selling them shortly after hahaha

I received my recent or of cams, steering wheel and engine ornament perfectly on time from Nengun.

My wheels arrived in good time also, ordered on October 15th last year and arrived on November 10th I think.

my saga continues. it's now the best part of 4 months and still no sign. i've asked them on about 5 occassions how things are progressing and they have been very vague. my last request was to be refunded because i obviously need to find some wheels elsewhere, but they said that they wouldn't give me a refund. the wheels clearly haven't been made yet, so i would have thought it was the least they could do. next stop.....lawyer. i'm over it!

    • Howdy friends, So another weird one today, I was looking into replacing some broken clips holding the front grille for the R32 GTR (part number 01553-03831), and noticed the brackets which are supposed to hold the grille in place were also missing 😑. I do recall seeing this issue many years ago, but didn't fix it at the time. A quick look on eBay and I was able to find the genuine brackets, along with all the screws which suited the headlights (part numbers 26042-08U05,26092-08U05). Happy days!....  Once they arrived however there was an extra nut in the packaging which implied that there should also be a bolt or a stud, and sure enough, after a bit of searching I found this thread from 2013, and @Ants clearly shows a stud should be present. Reading around a bit more, it's possible the headlights on my car are the "povo pack" headlights as mentioned by @funkymonkey in this thread way back in 2008. This could explain why the studs are missing on my set of headlights. Looking at the headlight diagram I wasn't able to see a suitable part number for the stud itself. The headlight did indeed have a recess that looked like it would accept a stud, but interestingly no thread or anything obvious how the stud would be affixed to the headlight, I suspect it may have been glued in, press fit, or melted into the plastic at the factory. Another member may be able to clarify if they happen to have a genuine set of N1 headlamps. The only thing we have to work with within the recess is a keyway which likely is there to prevent the stud from rotating within the recess. In any case, back to 3D printing, I put together a model which acts like a pug with a friction fit inside this recess, making use of the keyway so it doesn't rotate while tightening a bolt. Printing in TPU will allow it to slightly swell making a nice snug fit without cracking the part. I've designed the adaptor it to accept an 20 mm M6 bolt (stainless with a cap head in my case), as opposed to the standard M5 stud and I made use of the standard galvanised split washer that came with the genuine brackets from Nissan. Once the bolt and screws were all in place, giving the bracket a gentle shake gave the classic "shaking the car" feeling, very solid, which gives me confidence this is going to be able to hold on much better than the janky solution which seems to have been here for the past decade or so. Overall I'm really pleased with how this turned out and maybe there are more people out there running these headlights without a centre stud at all! • Hey everyone, This is my first post apart of the introduction. I tried searching a bit on the forum but couldn't really get a straight answer. I got the car to my mechanic as I felt it being weak. It seems that it was missing on two cylinders due to the injectors. I had all my injectors clean and the car runs much better. The mechanic also confirmed my suspicions that the cat is clogged and needs to be tackled asap. The cat rattles a bit and the hot exhaust warning frequently lights up when driving after getting the injectors clean. In my introduction I was asked about what modification I might be interested in and mentioned a cat delete. From what I was told, this is not really beneficial on the RB20DE and there are more cons than pros.  Could perhaps anyone give some suggestions on what the best course of action would be since the current cat is toast and needs to be removed/replaced anyway? I can also sometimes smell a strong smell of fuel, but I'm not sure if this is related.
    • Hope the cans went down well at least
    • 255 can't go wrong with the price.
    • When I was replacing my pump due to being stranded in the wrong state, I went with the Deatschwerks 320lph kit. It is a direct plug in to the stock wires, harness, everything. It comes with a plug... but you can plug the OEM plug directly into this thing. https://justjap.com/products/deatschwerks-dw300-fuel-pump-nissan-s13-silvia-r32-r33-r34-skyline-c34-stagea?currency=AUD Downside: Won't actually flow that much on boost if you want to push it on E85, but it's comparable to the 040/255 etc. Little more actually.
