Hello guys,

i'm actually searching for a good twin-plate clutch for my RB25DET, however im stuck between two clutches, both Exedy, one is the Hyper Metal version and the other is the Hyper Carbon version. However, i would like to know if you guys compared both systems or have experience with one of them and which one you would recommend me.

Is the Hyper Carbon one worth the additional costs compared to the Hyper Metal one ?

The clutch i want will be used on track for drifting/racing purposes only.

I'm looking forward for replys, thanks.

i use the ORC carbon clutches and find them awesome... we did destroy one but we will put that down to driver error ;) the normal type clutches last longer in drift applications we found butthe carbon has better feel. the carbon clutches in normal operation should last longer though.
