What Next

With my Apexi Pfc on the way I’m trying to decide what to get next for my mod. I’ve got a few things in mind.

Current Mods-

Apexi N1 Exhaust

HKS Cam gears

Next on list-

1. Some decent turbos replacing the old ceramic ones. Maby GT-ss OR GT2530, uncertain yet

2. Better airflow meters

3. Apexi Airpods

4. Cam shafts with a set of valve springs

What mod should i get next my peepz

Get the tune and see how it feels, 250rwkw in a 32 will go nicely

Turbos would be next, and that then requires AFM & Injectors also (so basically approx 5.5-6k with labour)

Get a 33GTR Airbox aswell, flow niiiicely

Cheers mate, also what’s the deal with people putting xr6 turbos in their GTR? Is that a good combination? I heard they go well with them on it.

Not really, IMO GT-SS's would be a far better turbo choice as they wont push the motor too much.

You have a 32, so you cant lean too hard on the motor, 280-300rwkw would be enough with GT-SS to keep you happy till rebuild and then chase the last 30-40rwkw if you wanted

Damn that’s impressive 250rwkw with the mods I have now with PFC, what numbers would I expect awkw? im guessing 220-230.

Ash how simple or otherwise is it to fit a 33GTR airbox into a 32GTR??

I'm currently running Z32 AFM's on the std 32GTR airbox to keep the stealth look & whilst it isn't a prob ATM, once I turn the screws I'm expecting it to become a limiting factor

Not sure if the fittings are different or not John, if anything it would only be the pipe that plugs into the airbox itself.

Number of GTR's here over 330-340rwkw with the 33 airbox so it cant be too bad

How did you get the Z32's to hook up? Or are they Nismo 'z32' AFMs?

Nope they're the full size 80mm & they were already on the car when I bought it.

I've been kinda slack, done nothing but drive the car since I bought it so I haven't had it apart to see what was done to make 'em fit....
