N/a Cruise?

Hey guys,

I thought i would be a good idea to try organise/discuss a Non turbo skyline cruise.

Many a time i rock up to a cruise and look past the hordes of commodores etc to see the small group of fellow import enthusiasts that i will try to stick with for the night. Only to find i am quickly blown away on the straights buy their turbo charged, intercooled racing machines.

So anyway, if other non turbo drivers wish to organise a cruise for our snail-less machines let the descussion begin!

Things like

- The date

- Night or day cruise

- Where the meet point should be and where we should travel

- Any activities etc.

I'd be up for something... happy to help organise too Just got to get my work sorted out cause it looks like I'm going up north for a couple of weeks soon. When all my travel dates are sorted, then I can be more certain on dates

well like i said, theres no rush. Lets just chat about it first to see if we can get people interested..

I think inviting other N/a cars from other forums etc is a good idea. Get a bit of variety happening.

(If anyone is on nissansilvia.com etc perhaps post this topic there aswell?)

Anyone know of any good areas for a drive? Hill are usually pretty fun but have to watch for Roos etc..

after hearing bout a couple of crashes from hills runs and crap, i dont think it will be a good idea, seeing a some na drivers are p platers thinking the are invincible. i'd op for a long cruise like a coastals

If your turbos make your car perform like a N/a your more than welcome.

make sure you bring the excel along for a run!

just be reminded no hoon behaviour will be tolerated this includes

putting it into a low gear at high speed to make your car rev lots

attempting to do burnouts but failing due to lack of power

attempting to power over drift but understeering into the curb

last but not least

attemping to make "whoosh" sounds with your mouth upon gear changes

whoosh sound can be created with shaking up a coke bottle and opening the lid when ur change gears, its hard to do it urself. and u can adjust level by much fast/much u open the lid, and it will eventually run out

might take the camry out for a cruise lol. VVTI power!

well it is hard to do yourself but it's completely safe cos NA doesn't go fast enough to warrant any serious accidents hahahahha

It does what all N/a 's do... Burnouts on gravel!

i knew a lot of the N/as weren't up to the task of cruising with the big kids on the block but i was certain a few more people would be interested in cruising with their own kind.

theres not much point in a cruise if we dont have a half decent group,

i sujest everyone goes out and buys an n/a skyline just so they can participate.

also not so sure about the gravel and my already chipped paint work.

or the engine is taken out
