Car Lightly Vibrates Like Stalling When Stationary, What Is It~!~?

hey,

Everytime in the morning when i jump in my car to warm the engine up i realise there are ocassional slight vibrations from the car...Its light vibration but definitely noticable, its kind of like when about to stall vibration but obviously not as bad but it occurs not only in the morning but even after the cars warmed up. However, I don't realise it at the traffic stops.

Any idea guys? Is the engine bad or something? Time for oil change u reckon? or 100k service (even though it shows cars done 50k, i don't believe).

I had issues with mine years ago, just tweaked the Idle air screw to increase idle RPM and had no problems after. That said, more problems occured with an aftermarket BOV and Auto tranny.

IAC (idle air control) motor may need to be cleaned out, but tweaking the idle air screw will help with that too.

Just get the screwdriver out and go nuts!!!!!

hahah thanks alot...im also assuming it may be the spark plugs as i haven't changed them yet ever since ive bought the car a month ago. I might wanna do my 1st service and change plugs and see how it goes....

Just wanted to add lil more info, my car doesn't stall or vibrate as bad to stall when at idle and it goes away when driving...BUT it does vibrate VERY BAD going up hill at slowly but with abit of correction with acceleration the vibration goes away (i thought it was the clutch but now i think its connected)

Yeah, spark plugs are a good idea! i just use NGK BKR5E, and gap them down to .8 so the increased boost won't get the coil paks knickers in a knot! they are cheap as and the fancy ones are for people who have bulk cash.

Give it a service and a severe thrash, if that don't work get the screwdriver out ...Tweak and thrash... repeat if neccessary... if symtoms persist consult someone who cares!!!!

Yeah i changed them to irridiums and NICE it solved the vibration issues and the shudders up hill. Perfect car now!
