hi guys,

tis might be discuss b4. if there is a topic on tis can i point to the right direction...

my question is----> i bought some wheels for my r34 gtt. stock offset is 17x7.5 +40 offset.

new wheels are 18x8 +28 and 18x9 +30. tis is known to fit the gtt. basically i was wondering wat is the consequences if i put the wheels on the car. i need to roll the guard etc etc. and also does tis affects the performance of the car? stability, bodyroll etc etc.

enlighten me guys!

thanks in advance.

assuming the fronts clear your brakes, then yes those offsets will be fine. Best way to find out about brake clearance at the front is to either test fit or ask seller if it clears big brakes. If its a jap wheel, it will normally be specified on the sticker by the letters O (low disk) A(standard disk) or R (high disk).

With the new wheels on your car, the wheels will stick out another ~30mm at the rear and ~18mm at the front. Check your car how much clearance there is. If there's more than 30mm between your wheel and your guard, it should fit. If there's more than 18mm at the front, they should fit depending on whether they clear the brakes or not.

thanks ppl.

i have fitted the wheels wit out any rubber on the car. everything seems fine at this moment. mechanic says might need to roll the rear guards. but he didnt say anything about larger brakes....

hoperfully everything goes well. its a work emotion xd9 btw forgot to put it down.

i have read that wrong offset to upset ur suspension and axle thingy(or something like tat) and also the control etc etc? is tis true?

Yes 34GTR have slightly wider fenders but their wheels still sit nicely on GTT guards. If you test fitted the wheels without rubber on meaning the car is fully jacked up, it will look like they need guard rolling. Once u get some rubber on, and lower the car back down, it should sit nicely with some 245s or 255s. Is your car lowered or not? If it is, then u will have some camber as well which should prevent any scrubbing.
