Whats This?

I noticed this thing wired up to my car when I first got it, but then I had a better look today and I have no idea what it's meant to be.

At first I thought it might be the thing that makes the beeping noise when I lock/unlock my car, but then I noticed it's wired up to my foglight and has nothing in it. The guy who last owned the car has done some wierdo stuff to it

Anyway, here are some pix. I can get some better ones if needed

cheap ones designed for in the car come with a cig lighter plug to power them

Yeah thats what I thought it must have been after I had a think about it. Seems so obvious now lol. Anyway, It's gone now, and left me with some nice bare wires for my fog light
