i dont have an oil cooler, but i have an oil temp gauge that i always keep an eye on. once oil starts getting up near 110, i start warming down. if it looks to be too hot i wont be driving, but ill come out for a look regardless :glare:

Id come, but im pretty sure my car wouldnt last too long. All things considered, i have no monitoring systems (bar stock items), and i have no doubt id blow my turbo at the very least. But id definately come out for a look.

thought i'd give this thread a bump as i now have my new gearbox and clutch in so i want to head out, really should get brakes and oil cooler first but i figure they can wait til the next one.

I'll be there as long as i can get ahold of my mates car trailer and its not over about 32-33 degrees.

Salad - Will you be heading out? Maybe change the thread title to get a bit more interst, hehe!

I'll be heading out as long as the temp is below 32 that day.

I really should double check my brake pads before the day too LOL. Apart from that, clutch tyres everything ready to go but the brakes. can't wait!!

Nah, I wont be out at this one, so it makes me really not keen to try organise it now. BUT, I will do if there is more interest.

But I can just see this being organised and it turning out to be a really hot day and most people pulling out, which was fine for me before when I was driving, but to head out there to spectate and have about 4 people show up is a bit different...

nooooooooooooooooooooo Jan 12th is Schutzenfest - you should all be coming out to the SAU meet at that!

Much better than sitting out in the sun all day at flyville (there are trillions of them out there!) watching cars blow themselves up in 40 degree heat! :)

I am planning to book my flight back to Adelaide for this event to test out my r32. How hot is it in Adelaide atm guys? Is it really that hot that I should be worried about? When is the next track day after the 12th of Jan?
