I loved the first one. Clocked it and played days and days of multiplayer deathmatch on lan with a few friends at my home. Second one was shit. Hopefully this one will be like the first one with all the present day graphics and physics etc.

Dude, what Soldier Of Fortune did you order? the latest "Payback" has barely begun development. Unless you just made a pre-order?

Its actually been in development for a while, its due out in a few days.

I take my comment back!!! Just started downloading this game now! also after that Black Area 51 and Need For Speed ProStreet.

all 3 should be finished in a few hours. Payback is pretty small in size (27 x 100mb) compared to Black Site Area 51 (112 x 100mb - 2 Dual Layer DVDs!!!)

Umm... the full release is out at the moment on my sites. Lol. Would hardly call that "barely begun development".

EDIT - Damn, your post came through just before mine.. now I look like the idiot lol.

Someone post something up after playing it. I wanna know if it's any good. I saw a bit of preview video a couple of weeks ago that left me with the impression they'd put too much effort into the disposable limbs, rather than game play and enemy AI. Happy to be proved wrong.

Agreed. I loved the 1st one, but hated the 2nd one. Deathmatch was fun on 56k

    • my guess is 2wd and 4wd are not interchangeable, but in any case you can just buy the bush (regular or adjustable) instead of a whole new arm
