Cracked Windscreen...

Hey guys,

I got a 20c size crack about a month ago around the bottom left corner of my windscreen (looking out of the car) and got in my car this morn and its gone from the very left side 30cm's in... this now cant be repaired...

Anyone know of anyone scrapping an S13? or has a windscreen spare?

i'll check out the wreckers, but last time i had to get my DS window repaired they tried to charge me $250... thanks to a Low200 i didnt have to pay that price...

Any help would be appreciated,

Yeh its usually cheaper to fix it when it happens, maybe try the joint next door to Natrad in Phillip, he seems really good. Forgotten the name sorry.

All good, called someone from the yellow pages who gave me the number of someone who will supply and fit it for $220, and he'll come to my car and do it...

Probably abit steep for a windscreen but i called a few places before hand and couldnt find an s13 windscreen anywhere...

oh and the crack is now 40-45cm's... growing pretty quickly...

Yea thats abit less that what I paid for a windscreen supplied and fitted for my 33.

well i got it fitted yesterday but its got a tint line across the top and my old one didnt have one... would you say its better to have it?

I like the tinted line - I think it looks good, and certainly helps with certain sun angles.

It all depends on how tall you sit???

its not a problem i guess... it just looked weird at first cause i didnt have a tint line before...
