my Zed (j spec) does it too, and i'm pretty sure even the aus-delivered zeds do it too... anyone got a link to the adr rule about lows+highs staying on at the same time? i got a roadworthy last year with my zed, he mentioned that the low beams needed to be adjusted but nothing about staying on at the same time as the high beams.

Has your R33 been complianced before?

Check underneath your bonnet for a compliance plate and every imported car should have a compliance sheet.

Because due to it being factory standard in Japan and imported here, of course it needs to meet Australiand standard but if it has been complianced before (which you need to prove) then you shouldn't have any problems.

In fact, I will contact my guys and ask them about this. Unfortunately, my r33 is at the panel beaters (bus turned into me). Anyway, will ask him on Monday and talk to my other guy if he does RWC's and how much.

Where abouts do you live, Charles89? Northern suburbs?? eastern suburbs?

Cheers

My car went through compliance recently and the low beam xenons stay on with high beam. Not sure if compliance did this or not but if Vicroad's want it, fix it!

Otherwise you just give the police another thing to do a minor defect on if there bored.
