Head Lights Gtr-r32

have problem with head lights when there on there stuck on high beam and when the car is turned off and light switch is also off the head light remain on high beam ? has any one come across this problem before and if so can you give me some advice as to fixing problem? thanks

i think that it is a stuck switch/contact coming from the base of the headlight peg itself. id take the plastic covers off of the ignition barrel and have a look mate. dont quote me though. mine have done it before but only when i was going really slow on the interchange from normal lights to high beam.

I agree with Trust33. It sounds like the high-beam "flasher" switch is broken on the combination lever. If you unscrew the steering column covers you can see the two or three screws holding the lever assembly in.

If you can't spot anything obvious, you can replace it cheaply as all R32s have the same lever assembly.

i had this problem and i couldnt get them off

then i noticed on the cluster that i had accidentally depressed one of the buttons that sits on the right hand side

have you done the saME?

Good angle to consider, but that switch is for low beam/dipped beam, and lukearse said it's his high beams that are stuck on.
