I used to go with Ultimates, cheap price (sub $100 if you know where), and they stop well. But yeah, they definately rape your rotors, and this new set I've got squeal to high hell. Been back to get 'em checked three times - nothing wrong, must just be the crappy compound.

I steer clear of the Racebrake pads. The C2's are a good rear pad for a car with a fair amount of rear brake Bias. Otherwise you don't get much out of them at all. Even after multiple hard stops.

I've destroyed a set of RB74's with the pad splitting in half and leaving the backing plate....... :rofl: I went down to RB and had a chat to them and they basically told me that I had over heated the pads and they they couldn't do anything about it. Not that I expected them too. Howard was very stand off-ish about it all too.

HTF do you over heat 750 degree pads? I wont be using them again, as I just can afford to have the pads disintegrate whilst driving............
