I'm not sure if they are illegal, but I've been told that gauges can't be any higher than your dash. So I'm gathering from that information that they might be illegal because they are higher than the dash.

But they also might not be because they are not right in the line of sight of the driver... (ie. covering any of the front window)

pillar gauges and such are illegal, and can get defected for having non stardard gauges and also they make a larger blind spot, and therefore is illegal, seen 3 people get done for it.

personally I like them, and think they are beeter then looking down the sterring coloum all the ****ing time.
