Considering Moving Interstate for a job offer. Car needs to go because I'm getting serious about my future. Has never disappointed me.

Make: Nissan

Model: 1993 180sx

Colour: Metallic Red

Rego - October 2008

Insurance is covered by Just Cars. Never made a claim.

Transmission: 5 Spd Manual

Odometer: 170,xxx (clocked it to 000 today).

Bits: All electric options, space saver, original Jack(nissan jacks are horrid), globes and replaceables all taken care of.

Engine:

- SR20DET Red Top running t25G with no problems ever. All EGR gear there

- Both Gearbox Mount and Engine Mounts have been replaced.

- HKS Power Intake

- Hi Octane Air diversion Plate

- Sump has been bashed out to maximize capacity and painted black to look nice

- Gel Cell Battery with less then 5000kms *may be removed if needed*

- Full Turbo back exhaust system. Car only smokes white from perspiration in the winters. Haven't seen ANY sort of smoke in the two Springs I've had it (so turbo, water, oils seem to be good nick), let alone summer.

-X-Force Cat Converter put in 5000km ago. 02 Sensor changed at same time.

Handling:

- Front Whiteline Castor Bushes (less rattle then pillowball gear)

- Front Whiteline Camber Pins

- Rear Whiteline Camber Bushes

- Upper Whiteline Bushes (expensive labour...need to drop subframe to do them. Drives like a newer car!)

Interior:

- s15 Rear View Mirror

- 180sx Floor mats

-Alarm Installed by Brett from PCA. Very comprehensive install.

Exterior:

- Nismo Front Bar

- M- Sports Sideskirts

- Nissan Rear Pods

- H2 Globes (the ones down from the ricey globes on hondas), so may be H3, can confirm if needed, same as the stock H4 but useful.

- 16 inch Advan Tri Spokes powdercoated white wrapped in Pirelli P6000

- Comes with all centre caps -original

- Resprayed - Roof has been resprayed Black, against the body's Red.

- Centre Garnish Painted Black, but still leaving parkers visible.

- Non Smoking Car or anyone who does smoke hasn't gone near it (besides maybe the mechanic(can be proved because ciggie lighter doesn't work))

- Worn/aged Interior Parts have been replaced with OEM parts.

- As many worn rubber seals have been replaced as possible, however some are impossible to get (outside door seals, sunroof seals).

- Front Windscreen Seal has been replaced and still has lifetime warranty. Reason for this is because original seal was painted over by a previous spray job and looked horrid.

- Controller for Headunit mounted over ashtray (no one smokes in the car =P )

- Manual Controller for Amp disconnected

- Booklets/Manuals for SR20det in glovebox (specific manual for 180sx can be provided in softcopy)

Over $10,000 spent on this car. I've watched over as many jobs as I can and am well hated by alot of workshops for making them do things twice. Serviced more often than should have been. Most work done professionally at well known trusted workshops. One of the cleanest examples. Handles very very well, and runs and starts as well as a new car.

Looking for 11,500 o.n.o

Options:

Upgrade Options:

- Bilstein Shocks with new bumpstop and dustcovers ordered to match:

-Whiteline Springs

- Front and rear Whiteline Adjustable sway bars with extra notches (so equal to roadholder gear)

- Whiteline Pineapples

- Front Nissan Strut Brace

- Rear Cusco Adjustable Strut Brace

- Front RDA slotted rotors

Add - $1500

-Fet Turbo Timer

Add-$40

Sound

- Pioneer HeadUnit

- 6.5 Inch Component Splits (old school Phillips which replaced the Sony Xplods previously in the car)

- Jaycar Amplifier 4x100

- Running Boston Acoustic Cabling (or hertz...can't remember)

- Rockford Fosgate P1 12" Sub, Mounted in Sealed Box (Could be bigger box I guess)

- Running to Stinger Connections (cabling is probably worth more then these connections. However Autobarn was the only place open that night and this was the most expensive stuff they had)

- Running off a GelCell battery

-Add $500

Power FC

-Add $1000

**Car is selling for 11,500 ono without extra bits. Great condition stock car to mod your own way!!**

    • Nah no bearings, just slip fit.  Would be a reasonably challenging but not impossible job to modify it to run bearings but I'm hoping that's not necessary as I may have well built one myself if I end up spending hours modifying it!
    • Brumbys with good shells are bloody expensive, I've looked at 2 "cheaper" cars, and walked away from both,  plus after some research spare parts are fairly sparce I'm starting to think that I missed the boat on finding a clean one that is straight (ish) and without alot rust I'm starting to think about a old Hilux as panels and other parts are much more available as they sold tens of thousands of them I use to be indecisive but now I'm not sure
    • A Brumby would probably fit a big metal toolbox in the back... this is how it begins
    • Picked up a new OEM boot seal for the MX5 today as the old one got ripped a bit by me being a idiot by seeing if I could fit a large metal tool box in it, it didn't fit, and ripped the seal with the corner of the tool box I am still waiting on time to get the cams and new balancer installed, as well as the repairs to the boot Time will not be an issue soon though
    • I was more thinking so it doesn't flop around as much rather than for rotating it. Once you have the balance right, it should rotate well enough, depending on how much resistance there is on the pivot. I think you said the pivot point was on a bearing though didn't you?
