hey, is the exhaust setup / layout for a r33 gts25 the same as a gts4?

Getting exhaust soon but if I happen to get an exhaust off some1 with a gts25, itll still bolt str8 up to my gts4?

so none of the 4wd bits will intefere?

you sure about this? every exhaust shop i've been 2 . Like 10 of them from Penrith to Liverpool say that i CANNOT put RB25DE Extractors off a GTS25 on my GTS.4 cause of the 4WD. Also i've got this massive lump on my passenger floor whats that? is it the 4WD Transfer case?

Every single exhaust woprk shop you have been to.. all 10 of them.. do not know what they are talking about.

I have personaly taken both my gearbox/engine and front diff out.

The transfer case/diff/front driveshaft are all on the DRIVERS side

The exhaust manifold is on the PASSESNGERS side

There is absolutely NO doubt that you can fit extractors/exhaust mods from one to another..

I have placed my order for headers on my R32 GTS4 with a S2 RB25DE

Would you like photos/diagrams of the 4wd system and a RWD set up?

Do you see the "sticky-outy" bit on the gearbox on the drivers side.. Transfer case..

See the big black pole.. drive shaft..

Wonder on over to the front passenger side..

See the exhaust?

Slap your exhaust shops in the face.. Headers/exhaust kits will fit

4WD and ehaust have nothing to do with one another..

Just makes you wonder about the "workshops" that are around today..

    • I thought it was just if “the modification effected/caused the incident”
    • Ok, good to know. I have open loop I think, I forgot which ones which but I am running the o2 sensor, brand new and I got a new boost solenoid because my last one was faulty and overboosting by a lot, but it's still technically overboosting. Haven't really bothered to hunt it down as I don't send it hard regularly.
    • You should not be able to see much smoke behind you if the mixtures are good - for ~13-14 psi anyway. It's not like you need to be running hell rich for only that much boost/load. Your tune might be a tad too rich. The tuner might have done that because they like to run a lot of timing. It's impossible to know what's going on from here. It won't be the actuator. It won't be the MAP sensor. Regardless of if by "MAP sensor" you mean either the Neo ECU's boost sensor (which is literally only that, a boost sensor so that the ECU knows a) that it's achieving boost, and b) that it is not overboosting) or you mean the dash gauge's MAP sensor (because it can't have any effect at all), or you mean the boost controller's MAP sensor (because it is very unlikely that it is running in closed loop, and so it is effectively just used to know when the pressure goes positive and so you can see the boost on the display, for the most part).
    • Yeah, they'll find anything they can. "Oh aftermarket ecu, that doesn't comply with emissions" lol.
    • See, I still thought it was 10 posts, and she was at 7 so I couldn't be bothered going in and fixing it when the fix was to simply post 3 more times. 8 more times....perhaps I should have.
