Timming Issues Clear Em Up

hey guys im basicaly posting this to make sure im not going mad!. rb25 s2 engine base ignition timming via the crank marks should be 10deg btc corret? also that would make it the third mark from the far left correct? ive been looking at my crank pully for awhile and its sent me mad, now im doubting myself, all i need is a simple yes your correct. thanks LOL

im 99% sure your right. the first mark is TDC, then second mark is 5degrees BTDC and third is 10degrees BTDC and so on

it should be at 15 degrees BTDC at idle though

Orange mark is TDC and then white marks are every 5 degrees after that. Standard is 15 degrees, although when my car was imported I could see that the bolts on the CAS had never been touched and it was running 18 degrees. Interesting.. but I knocked it back to 15 because otherwise it pings too much on 98RON. Even on 15 degrees it still pings sometimes, the engine was really designed for 100RON and when I put that in it runs beautifully. Still pretty expensive though
