R34 GTR V-spec2 Ball bearing turbo $1400 - are the wheels ceramic or steel.. wot psi has it been running at??

hi

they are steel wheel

and car only run fatory boost.which is 10psi only.(never running moer than that)

thank you

do you have any pictures of the air boxes, how it looks setup in a 33 GTR?

where abouts in Brisbane?

yes.i will take some pics for the airbox.

this airbox is full aluminum box.and bolt to factory box area.will only fit with factory turbo set up.

and it looks awsome!!

When you say factory turbo setup, you mean factory twins and air intake setup only?

Or could it be made to work with aftermarket bolt on twins and custom air intake pipes?

Im pretty sure then ARC airbox sits in the same spot as the factory box. It uses a ARC panil filter istead of twin pods. it works in conjunction with the factory AFMs.

yes

factory twin turbo set up and can use with after market low mount turbo.

wont fit with twin high mount or big single!!

yeah got it, so if I run twin 2560's it'll be fine? I don't need the AFM's so I'd get custom pipes off the turbos to the airbox made up!

Stock V-spec II turbos are ceramic wheels, if you care to put a pic of the exhaust side up, I can tell you for sure if they are stock turbos .

since you now know the turbos are ceramic, will you be reducing the price?

Hi

if you are keen.how about pm me how much you willing to pay!!

and there are not many R34 turbo for sale and this is off V-spec2 R34GTR!!

Ill do a search of the forum later n see how much they go for.. As far as i know, turbos on a v-spec is the same as a standard gtr.. Its only when you get into the N1/NUR GTRs that the turbos are better... I could be wrong :D

Do you have the part/model #?

You are correct but the seller says they are V-spec II so they are younger ( series II GTRS are from late 2000 on ).

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
