Headlight Cover Removal

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the Headlights on an 1995 R33 Skyline??

Removing the headlights and removing/opening the headlight casing are two different things.

There are a number of recent threads that cover opening the headlights up, do search for 'headlights' or 'cleaning headlights'.

In short, I do not think there would be too many people who would recommend opening them up....

I actually want to remove the covers so I can clean them, with some stuff from Just Jap

But no-one actually tells u how to remove the headlight Covers?

yes one dude in another trhead said u have to heat the glue up using a hairdryer or heat gun or the oven and pry it open gently!

hey man,

the stuff you bought from just jap is a plastic cleaner.

unless your headlights are really dirty, i would not recommend opening it up... too easy to f!@# up.

If you headlights are misty (as mine were when i bought my r33) just open up the headlight from the back (big screw thingo) and drive around for a few hours (or let it stand in direct sunlight) and it will evaporate.

I did that once and have not had any problems since.

ps: the plastic cleaner stuff worked like a dream.

yep... worked out really good. you only need to use a little bit anyway. i re-do it once a month.
