I own the car now. But before I bought it, I had a compression test done and a comprehensive check done by NRMA. The results turned out fine (except a little undercarriage surface rust).

It's in pristine condition inside and out and is completely stock except for exhaust. 128k kms.

Yes/No?

ah so twas you that got it, my mate was keen on it but he was told it was sold.

congrats :)

people can look at it and say its a lemon just by lookig at the price but hey i reckon there are genuine bargains out there.

on the ad he mentions "any test welcome" i dont think he'd say that if he had anything to worry about...

either way good luck with it

Looks like it isn't the 40th anniversary model, doesn't have the badges on the rear 3/4 pannel.. also should have it stitched into the seat.. Some of them did come with standard S2 front bar and rear wing..

Looks like a good buy, did you get someone to run the VIN through FAST? What year/month was it made do you know.

So the car has not been complianced yet?

Is the price including compliance, rwc, on-road costs?

It doesn't include on-road costs. I paid for a full year of rego plus a bit of stamp duty. Not bad! Amounted to less than $1000. Still waiting for someone to FAST my VIN.

Why are they going for so cheap these days? Is there too many coming into the country? Heck r32 gtst's can sell for more than $11K

Talk to the importers. They'll tell you there is a vast stockpile of Silvias and Skylines in open air storage, some on which have been sitting for 5 years!!!!!

Im thinking shenanigans unless it really is that hard to sell one these days.

Havent tried honestly. but i paid a premium on you 2 almost 3 years ago thats for sure.

Dont ask me why but i keep thinking its an s1 with s2 parts on it that don't fit quite right. That though is probably my imagination.
