Hello,

About 6 months ago my R33 was having problems idling correctly, (stalling when at lights and so on..) I took it to autotech in QLD where I was told the charcoal filter needed to be adjusted? If I understand correctly the charcoal filter's in the R33 when complied can be from a commodore? I'm after a Nissan genuine filter but cant seem to find any to buy. When looking at cars that are being stripped the filters all appear to be a generic brand not the stock ones. Am I on the right track here and will I see a performance boost or at least smoother Idling using a different filter. Are there any other options to go with, aftermarket ones?

Any Information is appreciated,

Thanks Cant wait for SCC 07 :)

:)

you can bypass the canister temporarily to see if that is your problem, but i dont see how it can be adjusted...

tried cleaning you aac valve? (do a search)

got an atmo BOV? maybe thats causing it as cars with AFM's dont really like them

or even a vacuum leak somewhere which would probably be the problem that will affect it most
