James and Ed, in the tree.... :D

r33gts25 - if you are looking at doing timed sprints, you'll need to join a club that do them.

Southern Sporting Car Club do about 8 per year at EC, OP, OP south and Wakie. Run in conjunction with the WRX, HSV and Alfa clubs. Other clubs like Nissan Sporting Car club, Thornligh Car Club etc all them as well. Best to join one of them.

To get some practice, as Roy said go to many of the L2S days - OP hold the most and Wakie have all the "open days"

Theres a few of us in SAU NSW that do quite alot of the open / practice days. Feel free to drop into the NSW section :(

Cheers,

Chris

Fark. You keep starting dumb threads (re: I want a quiet exhaust should I buy a stagea will cops pull me over in a stagea) and wonder why you get flamed.

Also I doubt you will get a CAMS license "soon..very soon".

Now to your 'question' go attend a Wakefield track day...factor in costs for new brake fluid, possibly brake pads, maybe need to machine discs, oil change, helmet. A couple of laps at a track will rape your car so make sure it is properly maintained/prepared.

Fark, the exhaust thread is asking whether there is an exhaust that is legal which doesnt hinder performance and the stagea thread is because im looking to buy one and wanted the opinion of others whether i would get pulled over more in the stagea or my R33... whats so stupid about that?

As for CAMS license what i meant to say was im going to apply for them soon not get them soon but sorry i wasnt being specific once again. Thank you for the tips much appreciated.

I always look after my car i dont just abuse it and expect it to take it. I had it fully checked by a friend of mine at Midas car care.
