hey guys, im new to the skyline scene just bought a r33 gtst and i have a big problem. after just taking it for a spin i popped the hood and saw oil leaking from my blow off valve. this is not good is it. can anyone tell me what might be the problem, and/or solutions. im freaking out haha

its just blowby from the breather lines. its normal, with a plumb back bov its just vented back into the intake. you can run an oil catch can to minimise it. your not the first person to freak out over some thing like this. do a search on "blow by" or "oil in the intake" you should get a fair bit on info show up.

its possible it is 'blowby' and No, its not a good sign. By having that much blowby enough for oil to come out of your bov, is a fair bit of blowby, your rings or valve stem seals might not be in good shape. I would recommend, getting a full leakdown test or just a compression test done asap to see where you stand.

yeh man there is a fair bit of oil hey i reckon its stuffed. i only just bought it and have been thrashing the lips off it, could this have caused it or did the guy do a dodgy and sell it to me knowing it had stuffed compression ?? i dont wanna drive it now hey

turns out the rings in the engine are f**ked and the engine is 'breathing' at idle, ie, when u open the oil filler at idle you can see steam pumping out. i am of the understanding that i will need an engine rebuild in the near future, and am wondering where, how much and how i can obtain a rebuild kit for a rb25et????? any help would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated.
