Hi,

My HKS Super Dragger Exhaust has a hole in it at the last bend at the end of the exhaust. It is about 10mm dia. Can anyone give me advice on what I should do. Should i repare it, I think it is rusted, or should I get a new exhaust???

Thanks

Juan

Funny that...I had the same problem with my Super Drager on my S13 a while back...the hole was small enough to seal with tht metal sealant stuff...its like play dough, you mix it up and just stick it on like putty...worked fine for a couple of months..then I just got the part of the piping replaced in the end.

What is the material? You should be able to get someone to weld it shut. Worst case weld a bung into it or a small plate over the top - should be a fairly cheap fix - not worth the cost of a new exhaust.

At a guess an exhaust shop and < $100 should easily cover it -- especially if you take the exhaust off and into the shop yourself you will save some cash - easier and quicker to weld on a bench.
