GUYS ! OMG heard from a mate around the area, there's this year 9 trouble maker WHOSE dad is a HOUSE PAINTER - thus the access to the putty/bog. BUT THE THING IS HOW THE FCUK am i meant to approach it, he's a young kid, thus i can just beat the **** out of him, and i"m not sure if its him. should i talk to his folks or just presume he did it and threaten the kid to pay??

BTW - please gimme some serious feedback. I'm not good with this whole confrontation issue.

Talk to the father when the kid is home. The father will confront the kid and he should be able to tell instantly if he is lying or not. Don't say you witnessed the vandalism yourself, but say that someone who did witness it told you. That way you don't have to lie about specifics, because you were just told what happened by someone else.

hey man... dont you watch CSI??? if youve kept got some of the crap off your car... have a friendly chat with this kids father and tell him wat happened. ask him if he has any putty/bog/filler around and if you can have some to compare with what was on your car. thats what id do. if he gets offended and pissed off... oh well, at least you tried.

i dunno man, you need to do something... wat happened to your car was so flucking wrong!

i'd tell them that your friend saw the kid do it .. the kid will fess up .. if hes a known trouble maker .. then his father won't be defending him i guess ... but be nice to the father i guess ... be understanding that hes got a trouble maker as a kid .. probably just wants attention ..

GaryD - i did go to the cops. and file a report. they wrote it i into a book etc. etc. I doubt they will do shit all, but i believe still notifying them was best. appearently if any kid got caught vandalising in the area. they will get penalise for the last 20 days of reported vandalism.
