Greddy Profec B Spec2 Gain

Just wondering what gain you set on you Greddy profec B spec 2 controllers??

I have heard too little and ou dont get maximum spool up of your turbo, and too much , and you get spikes.. I understand that it differs from turbo to turbo so I'm wondering how much gain ppl set for a stock turbo on an R33.

Set your set gain to within 4lbs of your boost setting. Then turn up your gain to the highest point where it starts to spike. .5 lbs over is ok but try to get it to not go over what you have set the boost at. Now continue to turn up the set gain till it starts to spike. I have mine at 2lbs below 17lbs. Which is of course 15lbs. The gain controls sensitivity and set gain controls how long the waste gate stays closed till boost is reached. On a stock turbo the higher the better, with a lot more power perhaps set the set gain to a lesser amount so the waste gate opens earlier and boost will hit more gentily.
