R32 Gtst Gearbox Options

hey just wondering wether their is a cheaper alternative to upgrading the gtst gearbox because the rb25 gearboxs tend to be pricy.. is their any other boxes available that are strong that can handle around 300-350rwhp??

you can look at some of the brands offering replacment gearsets but i think these tend to be even more expensive than a 25 box.

i know MiNES do a gear set, i have this along with nismo mounts, never any problem, and im running 320+ps

I know Kelly Mc (x DA drifter) has a z32 box behind his rb20 maybe a cheaper option for you

yeh they sell for about $800 require a custom bellhousing and custom tailshaft lol. strong box though!

Errr.. why exactly would you modify a RB26 box to go behind an RB20 when they are built to suit a 4wd setup, have the same internals are RB25 boxes and are worth more than Rb25 boxes?

ummm no they are worth less then a 25 box. but yes have the same internals, but if you can do all the cuting and welding urself to make it a RWD only box... not to hard now is it??
