hope to own a gsxr 1300 by than ^_^

Don't do it......I used to have a GSXR years ago and almost killed myself when an 81 year old female in her Datsun 1600 wiped me out.......too much power for 2 wheels anyway.

If I hit a car with my current 2 wheel steel horse, it'll just push the car out of the way, unlike the lightweight GSXR.

go a hayabusa (turbo) they look mad when done up right

i thought the sled would slice through the car instead :P

don't usually like those sorts of bikes but that 1s tough :spank:

is the bike quicker than the GTR?

Haven't had either very long yet so I'm not sure.

I've never really hammered either of them yet apart from a few short bursts here or there.

Bike's got a 100ci (approx 1630cc) engine. Unlike the high revving Jap bikes, its more of a torque monster and alot heavier than them.

judging by the seating position on the bike, sustained high speeds would tax ur arms somewhat cos u'd sit up and effectively be a parachute... could prove hard to hang on. Don't have farings (spelling?) to hide from the wind. no doubt that tourqe monster would have a whole bunch of get up n go, accelerating at an alarming rate would be no hassle :)

just my 2c

Yeh Carl, ur pretty much on the money there. The bike was designed to be a show bike and a weekend cruiser so it's not goin to do a 1/4 mile in 10 seconds......having said that, it's torque that gets you across the lights and this metal monster has plenty of that.....it'll tear up bitumen with that big rear!

And ur right, that seat height is low......about 6 or 7 inches lower than the lowest Harley including the FXDL Dyna Low Rider.

yeah Pete, designed as a show bike but no doubt it hauls ass

i reckon it would leave me sitting at the lights scratching my head :)

for 1600odd cc's that'd have huge torque for what about 200odd kilo..... my old man has a Vulcan VN1500, a Harley lookalike basically, thats a 1500cc and a fairly quick bike for 300plus kilo!

Not bad at all for a water cooled.......would be a great cruiser on a long run.
