hey, not that i have heard of, i have an apexi full auto timer i want to install and have a thread open about the detials on it, however i figure that you need a vehicle specific wiring harness to use, to plug the relay into the key harness barell that t's to the turbo timer relay and does not effect the rest of the car. however i havnt gone to install mine yet, should do that today actually...hame

without being a troll - You don't really need a turbo timer. They are a waste of money, fuel and oxygen.

Turbo's only take about 10 seconds to spin down to idle, so just take your time and don't up your car about 10 - 20 seconds before you get to your destination.

My car came with a turbo timer. Majority of the time I switch the car off and disable to the turbo timer. The only time I'd use it is if I've been hitting boost regularly and hard for an extended period of time immediately before reaching my destination, which is barely ever.

If you haven't bought a turbo timer, I wouldn't bother with one. When you weigh up the cost compared to the actual amount of times in a year you use it and it actually does something (by doing something, I mean saving you 40 seconds of sitting in your car idling) you end up paying like $100 to save yourself 10 mins a year.

i have a greddy full auto turbo timer and it cost me $150 installed...mine is set to 40 seconds but it adjusts itself while you drive as to how your driving.....there has been times where i have gone through the hills and stopped after an hr or so and the timmer has gone to 9 mins 59 seconds (max it can go to) and that to me is telling me how hot/thrashed my turbo is so i would give it about a good 5 mins of idling before i turn the car off....turbo timers are good if you get it installed properly and they do save turbo life so i have been told by my mechanics

not true

30 seconds is probably the most you'd need to drive steady for before turning the car off.

yeah maybe if ur just limping around town.

After a few hot laps id be warming it down/driving it soft for longer than 30 seconds. Not just for the motors sake but the brakes too
