if anyone knows of any 40 hour week jobs avaliable doing either, Fitter and turner, carpentry, gyprocking, plumbing, welding this that or whatever I can do it..

im a fitter and turner by trade but have been doing the above things for a while now...even if its just casual up to around christmas or there after....im easy, ive already kinda hooked up a job but probably wont be for a few weeks...

thanks guys, any help is appreciated...just dont wanna loose my car LOL!!!

im 22 and live at west lakes, dont mind travelling.

what is your hourly rate?

do you hold a builders license?

Id offer you a contact in my workplace - BUT we havet got as much work on as we have had in the past 10yrs, so unfortunately just at the moment I cant say yes.

in the new year we may be busier but cant say just at the moment.

Im with CoDesign Interiors - who did you work for?

sorry to hear Ryan, hope all goes well for you.........

if you like you could give my agency a call and see if they have anything.....im not 100% sure whether they deal with the industry your in, but hey there is no harm is asking

Good luck once again.

nah no real builders licence, only experience in the construction game...gettin paid $21 an hour.

thanks anyway buddy

no probs

if anything comes up Ive got you in mind

we are construction - commercial interior office construction, ie ground to ceiling and all that encompases.

not all our blokes hold a license, but all are qualified carpenters/joiners or fitters/turners.

23-30 an hour

BUT no extra work at the moment, very unusual for us at this time of year, but just how it is atm

try an agency??

what was the company name?? pm if you dont want all to know

When i was made redundant because of a similar situation i wasn't getting paid, so i made up my own hours, 1.5 hours of work............ 5 hours of the pub ................ and another 1.5 hours of work!! Now i cant understand why the new owners back then didn't want to keep me on!! :D

How do you feel about ASC(sub corp)? They are currently taking people on, though they get everyone through agenies. The main ones are Broadspectrum and Rexco but list with all of them anyway.

As a qualified fitter you should not have any trouble. The money will be better as well as 25/hr+penalties is the norm and goes up from their, broadspectrum offers permanancy within 6 weeks.
